For over 20 years Metier Records has championed the music of Michael Finnissy, without doubt among the most brilliant and inspirational composers of today; often seen as a leader of the New Complexity school (whatever that label is meant to convey), his music is much wider in scope than any such label can describe, including his arrangements of classical works, fearless chamber and vocal works, or music based on folk music from many parts of the world. We at Divine Art have been delighted to continue this series.
