Voces Oxonienses

Voces Oxonienses is a choir formed from top British professional singers,with a wealth of choral experience.

On their first CD “Heaven’s Happiness” they are directed by Michael McCarthy, a highly respected singer and choir conductor. Accompanying on some tracks (the rest being a capella) is Rufus Frowde who was organ scholar at Merton College,Oxford, and is now a successful freelance musician.

On the second choral CD “The Way to Heaven”, Rufus Frowde directs the choir and the organ is played by Iestyn Evans, who was organ scholar at The Queen’s College, Oxford and has held posts at both the Abbey and Cathedral of Westminster.

Rufus also directs the ensemble in choral works on the albums “Empyreum” and “From Wonderland to Heaven”
