Gifted classical guitarist Jonathan Richards has divided this highly accessible recital into four distinct sections, opening with Spanish music before moving on to Russian and British works and closing with a selection of memorable melodies from the pens of Chopin, Schubert, Mendelssohn and Gluck. The finished product blends the familiar and the relatively obscure to excellent effect, showcasing several pieces of Victorian light music which have been rescued form the archives by Jonathan himself.
