Rosemary Attree

Rosemary grew up in Northumberland and began to learn the violin in group lessons at the age of eight. After leaving school she was awarded a First Class undergraduate degree and Masters degree with Distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music. In 2013
Rosemary joined the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester. Alongside symphonic repertoire Rosemary especially enjoys smaller scale chamber projects and freelancing regularly with Royal Northern Sinfonia, Manchester Camerata and Manchester Collective. When not playing the violin, Rosemary likes walking in the hills of West Yorkshire where she lives with her dog Ruby and partner Nick.
