Romualdas Grazinis


Romualdas Grazinis, conductor and artistic leader of “Aidija”, was born in 1962. He graduated at the Lithuanian Academy of Music in 1985, and even whilst still a student there, from 1983, he began his teaching career at the M.K.Çihrlionis School of Art in Vilnius, where he has been head of the Choir Department since 1994. In 1989 Mr. Grazinis was admitted to the graduate program of the Conservatoire in Paris and in that year the chamber choir Aidija was formed.

Mr. Grazinis has participated in many conference and teaches a variety of choral-singing courses. In 1997 he joined the staff of the Choral Conducting Department of the Lithuaninan Academy of Music.

With Aidija Mr Grazinis has appeared on two discs for Divine Art’s “Pilgrim’s Star” series, in two cantatas by Italian composer and Franciscan friar Fr. Armando Pierucci.
