Laura Robinson

Laura Robinson first began playing the recorder at the age of seven and went on to achieve her DipABRSM before furthering her musical education at the University of Manchester and the Royal Northern College of Music where she studied with John Turner.

In 2007, Laura was involved in the recording of the widely-acclaimed Manchester Carols with John and has since then performed in a number of broadcasts including Sasha Johnson Manning’s The People’s Passion on Easter Sunday 2012 for BBC Radio 4’s Sunday Worship programme.

Laura has also toured with John and the Manchester Camerata in 2008, culminating in a final concert in the Bridgewater Hall. Apart from playing professionally, Laura is currently teaching both recorder and viola throughout Lancashire.
