THE DIVINE ART AGENCY CONTRACT

MUSICIANS and INDEPENDENT PRODUCERS: Traditionally, music was on LP and record companies paid for recordings to be made. However they also recovered all of the expense from their artists before paying royalties, and completely controlled the artistic process. The classical retail market is very different now and all recordings have to be funded and subsidized.

To regain control over their recording careers, some artists set up their own labels or produced private (non-commercial) CDs. But most found it difficult to get established in the international market.

With Divine Art’s Agency contract, the musician is in control. We provide a service, at a very reasonable cost, to assist you to produce, promote and sell your recording on our label, with the benefit of our distribution network for digital download, streaming and physical CD/SACD/DVD, and excellent reputation for quality.

In return (subject to basic safeguards) you choose what you want to record and when to do it. You have input into the design of CD packaging. And most importantly, you retain financial control. All the finished product belongs to you to sell as you wish. All we require is access to sufficient stock to sell through our network. And we account to you for most of the sales income.

Join the growing band of Divine Artists. Take Control.

TRADITIONAL CONTRACTS

We also accept new recording projects on a traditional assignment-of-rights basis if more appropriate (with or without royalty), which can reduce initial cost. Standard or custom packages are available and most options the provision of an initial box of CDs (and/or digital audio cards) for you to sell at concerts.
