Sergei Rysanov

Sergei Rysanov graduated from the Music Conservatories in Baku (Azerbaijan) and in Moscow under the guidance of Prof. Maria Tchaikovsky. He is a laureate of many international competitions which have taken place in Russia, the countries of the former USSR and several European countries.
Since 1991 he has been Principal Cello in the Częstochowa Philharmonic. He also works with many ensembles, such as the Ricordanza Chamber Orchestra in Wrocław, Nona String Quartet and the Huberman Piano Trio. He is also a soloist of the Baroque Opera Orchestra in Berlin. Sergei has performed recitals and symphonic concerts in countries across Europe and in South Korea.
Mr Rysanov plays on an instrument by Giouita Rodiani, made in Brescia around 1650.
