Lucy Jack


Lucy Jack (contralto) studied music and education at Cambridge University and now combines teaching with a burgeoning solo career. To date, highlights of her solo work (at concerts around the country) have included Handel’s Messiah (twice), Haydn’s The Creation (twice), Mozart’s Vespers K339, Beethoven Mass in C, Bach’s Cantata 140, Daniel-Lesur Cantique de Cantiques, Poulenc’s Mass in G in Cambridge and Mozart’s Requiem.

Lucy has also appeared on numerous broadcasts and recordings as a soprano soloist with Queens’ College Chapel Choir (where she was a choral award-holder) and the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir (of which she was a founder member). She currently studies singing with Ashley Stafford.
