Luba Podgayskaya

Luba Podgayskaya is a Russian pianist and harpsichordist. She has lived and worked in the Netherlands since 2008. She works currently as a repetiteur/coach in the Dutch National Opera Studio, Reisopera, and Royal Conservatoire Den Haag.
Luba graduated from Saint-Petersburg State Conservatoire in 2008 majoring in harpsichord and piano and obtained a Double Master Diploma in the in 2014 from the Koninklijk Conservatorium. In 2018 she received a Master Vocal Repetiteurship Diploma in collaborative piano from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Luba has studied with Elena Seredinskaya, Jacques Ogg, Patrick Ayrton, David Kuijken, Nathalie Doucet, Jan-Paul Grijpink, Peter Lockwood and Alan Fraser.
In 2014 Luba won 1st Prize in the International Piano Competition “Resonances” (Paris, France). Recently Luba has participated in projects/programmes such as Grote Zangers, De Wereld Draait Door, Grachtenfestival, Rotterdam Operadagen, and Trentino Music Festival. Luba has worked with Opera Zuid, Opera2Day, Dutch National Opera Academy, Theater Transparant, McCray Operastudio, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and many more. She has also recently qualified as a musician’s counsellor and has opened a private practice in The Hague.
