Jennifer Clark

Jennifer Clark held a choral scholarship at Girton College, Cambridge, singing with the Girton College Chapel choir, as well as other ensembles including the Aurelian Consort. With the Girton choir she was involved in tours to cathedrals, including Lincoln and York Minster, and in radio broadcasts during a tour to Hong Kong and Japan.

After completing postgraduate studies with Distinction she is now studying with Suzanne Murphy at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

As a specialist in soprano soubrette roles she has developed a fine reputation in opera and oratorio with many major roles to her credit and will be appearing in English National Opera’s recording of Verdi’s Macbeth for Chandos. She also appears regularly with vocal ensembles including Tenebrae, Armonico Concert Soloists and Musica Beata.
