Described as a “highly accomplished… delightfully buoyant pianist” (Benjamin Ivry, International Piano, January/February 2008), pianist Jennie-Helen Moston is enjoying a busy and varied musical career. Having studied from a young age at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester, she went on to receive an MA from the University of Cambridge before completing her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with Distinction.
Appearing regularly on British concert platforms, her musical colleagues include cellists Stephanie Oade, clarinettist Sarah Williamson, flautist Anna Stokes, soprano Lesley-Jane Rogers, tenor Nicky Spence and baritone Lukas Kargl. Her recital work has taken her to the USA, South Africa and Austria and she continues to travel the world performing with duo partners Catlin Win Morgan, Helena Smart and Stephanie Oade as the Pearl Duo, Duo Silvera and Duo Royale, on board P&O and Cunard luxury cruise liners. Jennie-Helen is also in demand as an accompanist on music courses with cellist Hannah Roberts and conductor Colin Metters.
She is also an enthusiastic teacher of piano and music theory in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames, and has been an examiner for the ABRSM since 2010.
