Christine Anderson

Christine Anderson is a Glaswegian violist who enjoys a varied career as an orchestral and chamber musician. In 2016, she joined the viola section of the Hallé, where she holds a 50% job, and she also freelances with many of the UK’s orchestras. Christine enjoys playing regularly with small ensembles, including the United Strings of Europe,
SONO Ensemble, and Her Ensemble, a group that formed during the pandemic which challenges gender stereotypes and the gender gap in the Classical music industry.
